Who am I?
I have an extensive and varied working history. Before joining the banking industry some 14 years ago, I had worked in many customer facing industries from pub; clubs and hotels to recruitment and insurance, as well as working in call centres. I have worked in these areas these as employee, manager and owner.
Then came my tenure in the banking industry -14 years supporting clients with their banking needs from cashiering; financial education; managing teams across multiple sites and finishing with specialising in helping businesses and their owners understand their banking options.
It is in this role where my passion for support started to materialise. I would spend more time supporting business owners with understanding their options on how to run their business, rather than offering bank products and services. Throughout this time I have worked with hundreds of local businesses and the one thing that makes me happier than anything is seeing the passion that business owners have for their businesses and it is my privilege to support this and help businesses grow to their true potential.
I am a keen local networker, taking great pride in connecting amazing local businesses with the products and services that will help them grow. I have supported and helped run many local Networking groups and would be happy to introduce you to any of them, as I am a firm believer that networking can work for any business, you just need to find the right group for you!
Finally, I value relationships with people. I am not first and foremost an advisor, I am a person, with a sense of humour (it has been said). My clients are not just business owners, they are people and this is where it all starts. Getting to know people; enjoying building relationships and forming amazing bonds on which we can build even better businesses.
